Next, I got something to share with all of yah 6-Hopeiians. Have you all heard of the latest news? Okay, if you haven't heard of it, let me inform you... Don't be outdated again!
MUMBAI INDIA - Indian security forces have surrounded two hotels in Mumbai, the Oberoi Trident and the Taj Mahal Palace, which were taken over by gunmen who launched co-ordinated attacks in the city on Wednesday that have so far left more than 100 people dead.
Well, I don't think you care to read a super..long news article.. Let me shorten it.. First, some terroists used an AK Series Gun to shoot the building of the Taj Hotel, in the end, which started a fire on the top floors of the hotel. People in that hotel was called in the room by a security personnel, calling them to wait for the officers to escort them out of the room & Hotel. Well, it lasted for 3 days and there were about 3 Singaporeans there. Most of them booked the plane ticket to Singapore, all Singaporeans were back safe and sound EXCEPT one woman, who unfortunately passed away.
The Singaporean Hostage news TODAY (29th): Mumbai on Thursday night.
The couple held their wedding in Bali only in June last year.
Mr Puhaindran, 37, last heard from his wife through two phone calls she made to him on Thursday after she had been taken hostage at the Trident Oberoi hotel.
She had gone to Mumbai on Wednesday to attend a business seminar and it was meant to be only a one-night trip.
At a late-night press conference on Friday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed that the worst had happened.
The ministry first received word at about 8pm that a body matching Ms Lo's description was found on the 19th floor of the hotel.
Confirmation came at 9.35pm when Mr Puhaindran, accompanied by the High Commissioner, identified the body.
She was among 24 Trident-Oberoi hotel hostages found dead on Friday.
Acting Prime Minister S. Jayakumar said in a statement on Friday night that he and his Cabinet colleagues were painfully saddened by Ms Lo's death.
'The loss of any life to terrorism is sad but the loss of a fellow Singaporean is a pain more keenly and more closely felt by every Singaporean. I know that all Singaporeans feel deeply for the family and our hearts go out to them in their time of sorrow and grief,' he said.
Senior Minister Goh Chok Tong also expressed sadness, saying he knew Mr Puhaindran's family and had attended the couple's wedding.

Theres a song really meaningful that I would like you all to know.. Cause we only have about 359 days left till the end of 2009.. Time will always be fast and in a blink of an eye, everything about Primary School Life is over. And there goes the next road of education - Secondary School. But sadly, we doubt we can be in the same route of education.
As the time goes by, I hope that we all can treasure every day of our school life properly and hope that after the time goes by we will not regret what we've done in our school life. We'll all be in contact in this nice and tidy blog, but we will not be seeing each other, maybe forever. So we must work hard, and play hard, thats what our elders say. But they are missing a point. Which is... treasure our friends really hard. There is only about a few hundred days left for us, and lets treasure every month, week, day, hour, minute or even seconds of the time we can still be together. As time passes by in the next land of education, lets hope that we can still remember and get in contact with each other and for the 3rd town of education, College or Poly, lets hope (again) we can still see each other. I hope this is meaningful to you.
